Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebrations at Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi on 27th November 2024 was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of Belagavi, Shri. Mohammad Roshan.

He talked about how he learnt Kannada in 22 days and how much he loves the language. The VTU Vice Chancellor Hon'ble Dr. Vidyashankar S, the Registrar Dr. B.E. Rangaswamy, Registrar (Evaluation) Dr. T N Sreenivasa, the Finance Officer Dr. Prashant. Nayaka G,  along with the Deputy Commissioner Shri. Mohammad Roshan, honoured the Rajyotsava awardee the veteran writer and researcher Dr. Balasaheb Lokapur , Suvarna Mahotsava Award recipients, Environment conservationist Sri. S. M. Chalavadi  and Yakshanga Bayalata artist Yamunabai Kalachandra.
